Helen Dunn Frame is an accomplished businesswoman whose professional writing skills and love of travel culminated in the fascinating mystery GREEK GHOSTS in which many threads of her experiences have been woven.

In Costa Rica, where she has spent most of her time since 2005, she is creating a second book in the mystery series, WETUMPKA WIDOW, featuring the same major characters that takes place initially in Wetumpka, Alabama, a town outside of Montgomery.

With input from others living in Costa Rica and other research, plus her own experiences, she is authoring an anecdotal book to help baby boomers research retiring in the country. Its working title is; DON'T LEAVE YOUR INTELLIGENCE AT THE BORDER (with the lost luggage). A children's book she is co-authoring MLURTMI, THE GIRL WHO WALKED WITH WILD ANIMALS about a Bribri Indian Girl who becomes an Awa (Shaman) hovers in the background.

Living abroad for eight years and traveling extensively in 50 countries, as well as having a Master's Degree in Sociology from New York University, has given Helen a deep appreciation for the value of diverse cultures. In addition, over the years she has developed various skills in German, Spanish, and French.

A graduate of the Journalism School at Syracuse University, she has been published in major newspapers and magazines as well as trade publications in the United States, England, and Germany. Some of the publications are: New York Times, New York Herald Tribune, New York Daily News, Dallas Morning News, Dallas Times Herald, L.A. Times, Boston Globe, Scene Magazine, Travel, Southern Living, Greek Accent, Convenience Store Journal, Toy and Hobby World, Student Store, Non-foods Merchandising, Open Road, Real Estate Business, Texas Realtor, Miniatures Dealer and Uptown, Northside and Park Cities People.

Helen was the Publisher/Editor of the Real Estate Informer, and has edited newsletters, such as Uptown Voice, and other author's books. She has written columns both online and off (including a column for Inkwell Newswatch), created business proposals for clients, and spoken to groups about writing and publishing.

In 2008, Helen became Editor of Coldwell Banker Costa Rica's Vista Magazine that not only lists properties and businesses for sale but offers information about the country, its people, as well as living and investing in Costa Rica.

Helen also had a successful career as a commercial real estate broker in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, specializing in retail and restaurants. Over the years she has been active in various organizations, including serving on the Board of Directors of some. For her many achievements, she has been recognized in the United States and overseas.
